It looks like the Google servers are getting hammered.

but this one has tabs that operate in seperate processes from the main browser (so no more browser crashes - only tab crashes), and an "incognito" tab that seperates everything you do in that tab from other tabs in the browser & your system! nothing you do in that tab is logged. Porn in the office anyone?
it's gotta be worth a look.

A multi-threaded open-source browser should find wide acceptance. Unfortunately it will likely be Firefox that takes the initial impact in this new browser war, because this open-source stuff is, for the most part, only popular with the open-minded, who have long since abandoned IE for FF. In the long run however, Google's ability to penetrate markets will, no doubt, take its toll on MS as well; IE is the real target.

IE 8 Beta 2 has the "porn" fuction to keep things from being logged...
I still like the idea of different browsers other then IE..It gives the hackers new toys to exploit ...

Definitely makes this site look its age. Took a bit to load up...resolving dns quite a bit. However, I'm liking it so far.

so far, so impressed.
it's only this site that seems slow, other sites I visit that are normally slow seem much quicker than with IE.

I love that it has its own task manager.
There are some annoyances that are related to its Beta status like not being able to edit bookmarks in any way or not being able to remove an entry from the "Most Visited" list, but we can expect those things to be fixed.
And, I really miss certain Mozilla add-ons (like R.I.P.), so until Chrome is as extensible as FF and SM, it will just have to go back to the future: I will catch up with it later.

Hail to the Victors
Anybody try it for the GUI interface with Cisco Hardware?
Unable to authenticate via HTTPS:// PDM Interface. Strange....
