Buying a house
Well looks like I can set back and enjoy a little more room. Buying a house, the prices have been coming down. into the realm of doable. Should close the end of August, do some cleaning and minor repair and then start moving
Really wish I had not broken my wrist, that will make it harder.
House is in Cornelius, Oregon

I was going to suggest reading the fine print about “some assembly required” till I read that you’ve owned a house before.
I just passed my second anniversary on my first house. Mowing the lawns in late spring is so much more fun then mid summer
Good luck and have fun.

Our front yard, flowers and all are taken care of by a Homeowners Association that we are required to join. We do have the second biggest backyard though. I have owned homes in Washington, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. With the exception of Washington all yards were much bigger (and hotter)
Land is the high price factor here, so most yards are smaller.
My body is feeling better, getting past the post-op nausea, feeling some stronger though still pretty anemic. Thinking of the house is truly comforting, we are just too jammed in our apartment.

If the backyard is that big, lease it out to a farmer or raise hay. Maybe wheat.
Or just buy a tractor, be sure it has a cab with AC, with a brushhog. The lease would be cheaper.
To hot there in the summer for me.
Still the cheapest places for gas are there. $3.75
