Thread: Having a bad exp. with NewEgg. Don't send a check

    You know that's what I noticed when my order from Newegg didn't arrive in the 3 days. I noticed that it was shipped out of Memphis, this was a first for me. And when I sat in Ontario, CA for 2 days for no apparent reason, I knew something was screwy. What was more puzzling, was the return address on the package. It was Neweggs address in CA?

    NewEgg has at least three warehouses, one East, one West and central in Tennessee. They try to ship from the nearest one to keep shipping cost and time down, but you could get a part from the farthest if that was the only warehouse with that part in stock.

    Like is life, i would bet i just had one of those bad experiences with them , that may never happen again. The thing that bugged me the most was talking to that idiot of a customer service agent on the phone, and his english was so bad i couldn't understand him, and to top it off, i kept telling him something and it was like he never heard what i said. Like talking to a total brick wall. Obvioulsy one of those illegal alliens they all let take over the customer service base. That to me, just does not make much sense. One would think, that on thier end, that part of sales, would be the most important. Obvioulsy not. Thier site is nice for layout and all though.

    All in all, i had to take back anyy and all bad pre-matuere judgements about NewEgg. I will indeed order ny next order from them again. They never ever seem to make a mistake in item ordered or anything else. LOL

    Guille, The return address is because that is probably thier man office in Cal. That is where one would go for returns , RMA's or other concerns.

    NewEgg has always been there for me. Returns and all. Try Tiger Direct. If you think you have problems. I have 4 LIFE TIME Power Supplies that they will not take care of.

    Newegg is the best company I have ever done business with and I'm 76 years old so I've been around a while.

    I still like them OK, personally i am using Amazon for now due to the fact they let me draw the monies out of my Credit Union checking acct. I don't have any credit cards so?

    Getting to the bad Ultra's from Tiger Direct... I have since taken them apart and found out that the sodering job must have been done by an unskilled 10 year old.

    It is from May 2008, so I agree, kill it. Issue should be resolved by now.

    i'm not sure if newegg can really be blamed, as it sounds like that honestly haven't received your check. I can understand you're annoyed about the situation but if they haven't received the check, at no fault of their own, I don't understand what you expect them to do, or say on the phone? btw the fact it hasn't got there in over a week is pretty disturbing, IDK where you are in the world,but if you're in the U.S. you may wanna call the bank and have them cancel they check and pay another way.
