Far cry 2 coming this fall.. ( we hope )

    http://www.gamespot.com/video/942192...cial-trailer-1

A few days ago my best friend kept asking me if his machine would play 'FarCry 2'.

I kept telling him it was only comng ot XBox 360 or PS3, and maybe PC someday. Well, i guess i was wrong. The game is going to be released for all the consoles and PC at the same time. Sometime this fall i gather.

For those of you's who for whatever reason did not find 'Crysis' to thier liking, i would guess that this game is going to be right up your alley. The format is totally freestyle in how one wants to play the game, meaning, more like "FarCry' the original, and from what iv'e seen of the videos.., no doubt its going to be a winner. Maybe even bigger then the first one.

Side note: I always wondered just how many individuals it took to make a game like this, and he says in the trailer, at around 122 or some such. Now thats a commune of game making. LOL

Right now it should be out September...ish.

Sacred 2 (RPG) is also due out this year

Expect Doom IV in a few years (might or might not beat Crysis 2 ).

Blizzard has obtained the Diablo III website name (they say its not an indicator as to their plans).

    Enjoy!

Yes, alot of neat stuff going to be in this game. Can't wait. Unlike some, l loved 'Crysis', even with its little quirks here and there, and the FPS, or other. If i can play that game on the card i have now decently, then with all the hype surrounding this companies failings on that game ( which i disagree with ), one must be honest and see that they will work hard to make this a winner for all.

No matter as i will have the card to play it by then. LOL

The good news is that Far Cry 2 is being developed by UBISoft instead of Crytek. IIRC it will also be using a different engine than Crysis. This is good news because we may actually get a game that actually has a decent story line and isn't riddled with bugs.

Yeah.. maybe those bugs will turn into butterflies. LOL

What i like most to see in a game is storyline, cenematics, good sound drop ( background and other, gameplay, and of course, great graphics that work. Yuor right about that.

Its like i have this hate for EA games. Seems nothing ever trully good or better comes from merging with a known giant. Just the money game, of which an average gamer could give a hoot about. Thats on thier end. We still have to pay more, but often get less then the original. LOL

New things in a game are great. We all like that. makng it all work is another issue.
From what little i've seen, this is typically going to be very vast environment, and is typ. of the original FarCry, one will be able to roam about and not have to be so linear in its gameplay. Thats the best news.

He's not far wrong, Crysis was one of many recent examples of an engine looking for a game, big big letdown gameplay wise for me
