Any1 from UK here who could record a docu on BBC Two tomorrow?
Hi,
recently I've read an article about a new documentary concerning new research of the Shroud of Turin that will be shown tomorrow march 22th on BBC Two, but because I don't have any sattelite TV at home and don't live in the UK (I live in Russia) there is no way I can see it.
UK citizens can use the BBC iPlayer service, which allows users to view programmes for up to seven days after broadcast, but this service isn't available for users outside the UK ATM.
This is all the info I got from the friendly folks at bbc.co.uk (emailed them), so currently there is no way for me to watch the docu.
UNLESS, of course, I can find someone who could record the docu for me, converting it to a digital format if necessary and send it over the internet
There must be enough ppl who do things lke that at home for themselves, for later use, storage, for friends... I always recorded anything I found interesting back then in the days of VCR... Well, the point is, if someone is willing to do this, I'd highly appreciate the help. Please PM me if you don't want to discuss this topic in the forum, but honestly I don't see how it can be wrong to strive for more knowledge.

I'II do it for you buddy. I got your PM.
Just downloading the prog and then I will upload it to my domain: software-discounts.co.uk
It's a private link for friends only so the username and password must be kept confidential.
If this is agreeable then just email each time you want something recorded
I guess some people just cannot put themselves out for others. Very sad.

Thanks G! I got your PM and have send you an email already. Your password will be safe with me and I REALLY appreciate your help. Honestly, I was quite confident, that you would help me (got this impression about you from our first conversations back then) but I wasn't quite sure that I'll reach you in time, nor that you'll be able to help. Thought for a whole week, after reading the article, how to watch it and came up with this idea at the last possible moment.
greetz!

Any time K.
Jim, once again you are acting like an (.). Get a life instead of being obstructive and offensive. Your past behaviour speaks volumes.
Yeah, send it to the BBC trust for all I care. Whooping-forking-do.

Here I am willing to help someone, and here you are trying to get me in to court.
Well that speaks volumes, doesn't it.
You obviously have far to much time on your hands.
Incidentally, big deal.

G, good man. JM - buy a toga.
During deep sleep IT came to me and the future of processing is clear.
Future processors will primarily be digital tuning radios acting as grid computing nodes.
Voila. See ya in hell. PROCESSING
