Coolit Brass Tacks Review
Been using the Coolit Eliminator for several months now. Decided to up-grade to the Freezone. So I've done a brass tacks comparison. You want pictures of the box, how to install, technical specs, sorry but you'll have to go somewhere else, I'm just going to give you performance figures.
System:
Q6600
Abit IP35 Pro
8 Gig Patriot PC6400
XFX 8800 GTX
CoolerMaster 830 Stacker
4 120 cm Case fans, 2 intake, 2 exhaust
ThermalTake Tough Power 850 PSU
XP 64
Test:
Ambient 20C during test
Prime95 latest version, max temp generation, all cores
1. Q6600 SLACR voltage at Auto, 400x8
2. Q6600 SLACR voltage at 1.35, 400x9
Results:
Eliminator at Auto

Eliminator Overclocked

Freezone at Auto

Freezone Overclocked

Averages

Noise levels, below my old ThermalTake Big Typhoon when it spun up.
Conclusion:
Eliminator is good, Freezone is great. Better than any water or air cooling I have ever used.
