    Video Card Settings

Hi all. I was wondering what anisotropic filtering is and what it does? Should I have it on or off? I was looking through my settings and I noticed it. Will it lower frames/second if I have it on? I mostly do gaming.

Most modern cards take a very small hit from AF. It makes far-away scenery more crisp and accurately rendered so it's a good idea to have it on at least 4x.
