    Changing file extensions....in mass

As the title states...in Korea the cell phones need to have the mp3 extension changed to Kmp in order for it to play songs....my cell phone has 1gig of storage mp3s...so um....dozens and dozens of songs...is there a way to change a large group of .mp3 files to kmp?

    thanks in advance!!!

Search Google for mass rename file extension DOS. It's the first hit. You can use DOS/command prompt and xcopy to mass copy and rename at once.

Are you sure you don't need to "convert" the file format?

You need to convert mp3 to KMP.

KMPLAYER is a korean movie and audio player that supports a wide range of codecs and file formats, It has full VCD/DVD playback functionality.

Fact is you may not even need to change anything. But I did not read the full discription.
