Yup it was the pesky mouse. I brought out my usb mouse and started using it and I have had no problems. Been using the past afternoon and every thing is fine.

The wireless keyboard has given me any problems, so it was the mouse.

    Thanks

I thought I told you that 4 days ago, but nevertheless, you're welcome.

Oh ****, sorry Tunza. Actually you did dude, thank you! And everyone else deserves credit for their input as well. I could have asked my neighbor the pc expert

But before I get carried away, the **** is starting again. I was watching a show, just came back to my pc and those little buggers are popping up agan!!!

Okay, I switched my mouse and it was working fine for quite awhile. I wonder if I should go dig out my keyboard and see if what that does.

    Man I love computers

You might also try a different USB header or a PS2 adapter.

So a different header you mean a different port? I never thought of that, I wouldn't have thought using a different port would have made a difference.

I'll give that a try! Thanks dude

It's more likely to be a problem with the keyboard but if that doesn't pan out then you have to look at what they are plugging into.

Cool, thanks for info. I'm going to get the other keyboard out today. I'm thinking it could be the both of my wireless keyboard and mouse. I've had it for almost 4yrs. And the context menus don't pop up constantly like they did before I switched to the USB mouse.

Probably time to replace them and give this old set charity.

    Thanx
