    Computer hangs when connecting internet

    Hello friends,
    My computer hangs when i try to establish an internet connection, with my mobile (using GPRS).

    My mobile phone is : Nokia 3220

    My motherboard is : Asus M2N-MX

    OS : Windows XP

    When i try to connect,
    Firstly........ "opening port"
    then.... "dialing ...."
    dialing continues for some time(about 40 seconds)
    Then the computer hangs.

    Is it a trouble of my USB port?

    Nokia software is notoriously buggy. It often is very difficult to get it to work properly. If your USB ports work with other devices they are not the root of the problem.
