    camera charger

    I have a sony DSC-W40 digital camera without a charger. I've tried ebay but i can't seem to find a charger which you connect to the camera and not where you hook the battery directly up to it.
    Where else could I find a compatible charger?

    Our AC Power Adapter will not necessarily "charge" your battery. The primary function of this power adapter is to power your camera without the battery. Most of our adapters will charge your camera's battery, however, some camera models disallow the adapter to charge the battery.

    well i kinda read this after bidding.. my mom also has an older sony digital camera with a similar charger. it fits and it works when its connected, but it doesnt actually charge the battery..
