    Computer won't boot-up

    Please help.
    Computer boots-up, displays amount of ram, shows system speed and then suddenly restarts. (It does not display HDDrive or CD Rom). It restarts before it displays these them. Kindly advise

    Try replacing the CMOS battery. They cost $2 at most electronics stores such as Radio Shack.

    while the case is open, check for bad caps on the motherboard.

    I had replaced two bad caps earlier. However, one of them had gotten shaky or slack. redid the soldering and now it won't boot up

    I change the battery, change power supply, took out all the ram chip, video card, still no luck

    Then it is mobo or processor.
