    Wow, big news.

Even though I never really got into Starcraft (more of a Warcraft/Diablo fan) this will likely be a sure buy from me. If nothing else it should get us that much closer to Diablo III development

Starcraft, Warcraft 1/2/3 and Diablo 1/2 are the only games I have ever played without cheating. I think I will buy this the day it arrives at stores.

    LMAO same here

Diablo 2 i bought the special collector edition, all the others are regular editions.

i also have all the expansion for all those games

so SC2 is definitely in my shopping list

and yes!!! this just means Diablo 3 is next up in the release list

else.... MMO - Diablo, or MMO - SC as in World of StarCraft, or something like World of Diablo

I have to admit I would be more excited upon hearing news about the Diablo series (Diablo III, or Diablo MMO) but Starcraft II should satisfy my RTS needs, and considering I still occasionally play WC3:TFT (DotA and some Ladder) thats a good thing.

Besides, Hellgate:London should be a nice Diablo-esqe game in the mean time.

Any non-WoW Blizzard game developments are, in my view, a good thing.

I'm dissappointed Warcraft has gone down the WoW route. I used to love Warcraft just the way it was, tried WoW and I was like WTF?? Seems I'm the only one though

nope you can count me in

i do also like WarCraft, but definitely NOT WOW

WOW is a FPS MMO game, it's not a RTS game.

it's a part of the WarCraft only by its content, but not by game type, so it's more like a cousin of WarCraft.

but ... i wouldn't mind seeing a version of StarCraft a la WOW, so hmm... it'll be call WOS? (world of starcraft) LOL

I would certainly agree. I would love to see Warcraft return for a Warcraft IV RTS game. Although as far as Blizzard priority's go a new Warcraft RTS would be behind the new Starcraft II (obviously), new Diablo rendition (probably), and whatever their new MMO in development is (Diablo, SC, or new IP). So I would expect at least 5 years before release.

I enjoy both RTS and MMO games, but I have avoided WoW and really have no desire to play it. I'll play the new Starcraft, but Warcraft/Diablo are my true Blizzard loves.

I don't play WoW either. Wasn't what I wanted but was everything I expected. I like the RTS.
