Monitor Cable: Desktop to Laptop?
Is it possible to use my desktop computer using my Laptop's LCD monitor? Is there some cord that's available for this? Thanks in advance.

There should be a port on the back of your computer for VGA or DVI output. Make and model would help.

My laptop is an Acer 1690
I have a CRT monitor right now and i know i can use it as a dual display when i plug it into the VGA port at the back of my laptop.. i've used that many times, it's pretty useful.
The thing is that I want to get rid of the CRT monitor cause it's such a waste of space, and i was thinking of buying a LCD monitor. But if there's an option where I can somehow use my laptop's monitor as my desktop's display, then I wouldn't have to spend any money on a new LCD monitor.
THanks in advance

That's not going to happen. there isn't an input for the laptop LCD by itself.
If anything, you could remote into your desktop using your laptop, but that doesn't make much sense.

The only thing you can do with the laptop is to have dual monitors for the laptop (using the CRT as a second screen with the laptop as the primary screen).
To get a second screen for the desktop, you need another monitor.
