I need to get a picture 760 x 375 pixels (It HAS to be this size)....done that, but is HAS to be 40k or less
The smallest i can get it is: 48.4k
Is there anyway to make it smaller? i got it to that size by converting it to a JPEG.
Any ideas? Thankoo muchly
You may have to use a 3rd party application for this. I'll have to Google to find what I used in the past, but there are some apps that allow you to choose the quality of the jpg before you save it. Slightly reducing the compression quality will push you down below that 40kB cutoff. Gimme a sec and I'll try to find it.
I can do one better than that. http://www.irfanview.com/
That's the freeware app I was trying to think of. When you choose Save As... and select JPG, a slider bar appears to adjust quality.
That is not the same app that I downloaded as a trial, but it
works the same way by moving the slider to the desired file
size ... Let's let the OP try that one for himself and see how
easy he can use it ... it is rather self-explanatory

Do you know where i can download a trial version of: Macromedia Fireworks 8 from?
Website does not display properly in Firefox or IE ... your text and text colors
are overlapping the images and makes it extremely hard to read. You need
to get some help with the page coding to put the text where it belongs, not
over the images
If you're using CSS (didn't bother to look at the page source), pushing any text below the image should be really simple with a "float" entry, as long as that image isn't set as a bg image.
If you're not using CSS, I *strongly* recommend it.
