hard buy... which mouse and where to buy...

This next month i'm going to get a new mouse. The one i have now is the LT MX700 . its still working good but the mosue is all worn and i've had it for over six years now.. time to upgrade

Been having a good time windowshpping for the past few weeks here and there, and finally I've cometo a decision on two choices. Eihter the MX Revolution by LT, or the G7 by same company.

I've even looked at the MS 6000 series laser mouse, and like that well enough, but I'm skeptical about thier battery life, and i like the looks of the other two better, and the feel ofLT mice and operation.

I just went to the ZipZoomFly site and ws surprised to see, thier rpices ar very compeititve with NewEggs. In alot of cases, cheaper with free shipping. I would only save a few dollars but thats what we do right?

Gosh at ZZF.. the MXrevolution is only $72.00, and alot cheaper than Newegg. Best price i've seen there for that model.
ON the othe hand, I am leaning towards the G7,memrly for its reviews, more traditional design and looks, as well as how it preforms... NE had over 400 reviews and thats pretty darn good.

The delema here is just a few dollars to buy either mouse at different sites. I think i may have to use NewEgg for C.C. reasons...,but that free shipping means alot more savings. Only bought one item so far from ZZF, and they are OK.

I'm so excited.. Just to get some new thing. Piece by peice.. i have to do... ( work work work.. I can do that! work need doing?? .. name that game? ) LOL

See if you can find a good price on the MX1000
They are being phased out in favor of the MX Revolution
so the prices are coming down. I have on that I paid about
$40 for back in October after a Rebate
I just did some checking on it .. seems it is back up to
about $70 or more for this mouse

Amazing... I just went to every site and googled , and the MX1000 is selling for more then any new current mouse out now.. More than the onesi listed.

I wentto resellers.com and some merchants were selling it for upwards of $179.00

    Cheapest was like $78.00..

I then went toEBay and found quite a few .. one going for bidding at $9.99.

Do you need a current good CC to use the EBay outlet?? I just now signed up and registered.

If i could get one for that cheap, i mean who wouldn't?

Theres only like hundreds of mouses available... Do yourself a favor and get a new one...LOL This mouse i have still works good after six years, but the right clicker is slightly broke ( only by clicking do i notice...operates fine )

Rather then make this choice a career move, my guess is i would be happy with aany of the new mouses out, either MS or Logitech. Some others out are OK too I imagine. Matter of personal choice. I game heavy so that side is needed.. mostly

Just found one OEM atnewEgg.I wonder how long that will last... I get paid like tuesday...,so maybe it will still be there. if not, i am opting for the G7.

One of the reasons i'm debating, which has nohing to do with this is I also awanrt this certain keyboard, and have only money for one choice this month. If that mouse is still there, I wil get that as link above relates.

I'm partial to a trackball. My first ever "mouse" was a LT Trackman...the square one with three buttons and the blue-green ball. I find it a lot more precise, particularly when I am doing CAD or graphics work. I also like the idea that it stays put and requires a lot less desk real estate than a mouse.

I am still using a TM Marble without the wheel because I find the middle button a lot handier (programmed for a double-click) than a wheel.

A cordless wheel Trackman can be had on Amazon for <$40.

As it turns out... i did something smart and tried Ebay out. To be honest, i just never used them before but signed up the other night , just in case.

I found several and also some good combo units ( MX1000 plus keyboards ), and just left it and put one in my documents for future reference.

Just now i found one at only $10.01 bidded at and i bid $20.00, to up the anti so i might get it. I then hit the confirm to buy ,as final process in case i am highest bidder.

There were about six or seven in the list ( MX1000), and one as low as $7.00 start of bid.

I am new to this Ebay thing, so i hope it works as most everybody says. I sure get alot of emails from them concerneinfg working for them. I even got a special one time conference here in my city to attend by invitation.

This month.., i opted to get the keyboard, and will be here by Tuesday of next week. Am getting the Elipse keyboard by Saitek. Same as the one I have now but alotbetter with acual keys that the light shines through. I had a friend who had one, so i know how nice it is and works.. I game at night alotand mostly then only.
