Hooya!
Quake wars.. update update...wow!
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/en...28&tag=nl.e579
I'm one of those that loved Quake 4 and even today i am replaying it..once again.
While i seem to never be able to connect up to alot of the online games or shooters like ya all... ( play CSS mostly ), this is goiing to be one of the all time best FPS team play games that have come out.
Just read through the latest interview, screenies, and all it encorporates, and all i can say is WOWIE! What i really like is the developement of having players really use team play. This is thier but lacking in most as todays gamers just want ot mess around and hack and aall of that, rather than compliment a cause.
Yeah.. this year is going to be quite good fun... when these new games finally come out.. LOL

Cannot WAIT MAN!
Already pre-ordered!
I see this one's gonna beat the **** out of Battle Fields 2 and 2142.
If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

It looks a lot more "Battlefield-ified" than the original press release material had many people think, that said though, the gameplay mechanics of it actually seem genuinely team orientated for the first time in an online FPS since the original Enemy Territory, should be worth peeking at the Beta when it gets released to the public.

agree with Bigjakkstaffa is like a rip off the Battlefieldield 2000 something than an original game
they might be using their own Quake engine an all, but the idea is the same.
However though i do like the Team Oriented games, so bored at the typical FPS, and CS style games

It certainly does look alot like BF2142. That can't be all bad.
I was replaying some of Quake 4 last night, and one of the reasons i like the game is the colorful graphics, and general gameplay for fun FPS. Both that game and Doom 3 look to be almost identical in style and interface. Same maker,so that makes sense.
I think all of you guys,( me included ) should have been game designers or graphical support personel. Looking back now, it would be a very good field for creativeness and those who love game playing with an eye towards the visual. LOL
