Kn1 SLI Extreme BIOS changes wont stick
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello all,
Saw this problem in other forums, different boards with no resolution.
When I make any changes, voltage, fsb, any advanced chipset changes etc, BIOS changes are not reflected in WinXP as per Sisandra, Speedfan, etc. Also, I can't get changes to stick with windows based programs.
Flashed most current BIOS,old BIOS resulted in the same problem.
Could there be some BIOS lock on the Board that Im not aware of?
I never had this happen before, please help.

Thanks for your quick reply, BIOS protect jumper near CMOS chip is in the disabled position, I see no other jumper near battery.

Got things working, not sure exactly how, I cleared the CMOS again, despite the fact that I tried that once before, afterwards, chipset changes are sticking.
Thanks for your help SA, you helped me to think about this problem from a different perspective.
