harddisk drive data recovery software
Hi,
currently I am looking for data recovery software. Any recommendation on the best software that can be used to recover my data?
I have been told that the greatest data recovery software are from DOS.
Is that true?
Thanks

DOS did not include any data recovery software.
You want the best:

I tried this runtime program on my old crashed drive.
And it did show the files that I had on this drive.
But it wanted a registration # to copy them off to another drive.
$69 Uggghh.
I know programmers deserve to be paid for their hard work,
but would there be another file recovery program that would do the same,
say for about $20 - $30. Or is $70 the going rate ?
Thanks

How did you lose the data? Was it deleted, formatted or due to a lost partition?

If you want your data back, then you need to pay.
There is no free lunch.
