Hellgate London.. latest news at Gamespot

    http://www.gamespot.com/pages/gamesp...36&sid=6162095

Might want to take a look at the Gamespot site and check out osme more grat screenies and news about 'Hellgate London' Undoubtably, this is going to be one of the bigger big hit surprises to come out of gaming in the future. The whole concept and graphics are pretty darn good.. Latest faction is the FPS class which will have use of ranged weapons and tools....

Seen it in action a few times, and, eye candy aside - it looks absoloutley terrible to me

Geeze Jak. Your a harse critic there bub. Did you actually get to play or see the game from what the've done so far on a machine in person?? or is that just a sole observation? GameSpot seems to think it will be good and the personal interviews from the maker seem very positive and promising.

To be truthful, i have both of the BloodRayne sereis games and I mostly do not like zombie kind of games personally. Doom 3 is the ezception ,although quite differnt in style , but nmore appealing to the mainstream masses.

I've seen it in motion on a few occassions, not played it.

It basically seems to boil down to "run and gun - garish colourful graphical eye candy - run and gun - garish colourful graphical eye candy... run and...." and so on and so forth. Within three minutes of watchign it i was bored witless.

I think Gears of War will put this in its place

Gotcha! I get tired of that also.. If it doesn't contain a decent storyline and other to make it interesting, then your right. Run and gun is not my cup of tea either.

Just seen the trailer from gamespot; it seemed full of suspense and very attractive indeed.

Given that there was quite a big hype over it here in the forums a few months ago, I suppose it should be worth a shot.

However, I may just pass it as I don't think a Voodoo3 will be cut out for this... :|
