just saying with his budget, he could get a better system going with AMD and spend more on a much more respectable video card and ram.

Bipolar I have one more question. That motherboard link you sent me the ecs one. On the boxes picture it says it supports both core 2 extreme and core 2 duo, but in the specifications on new egg it says Intel Core 2 Duo/Pentium D/Pentium 4/Celeron D. Do you know what it actually supports. Thanks again

It supports them all. At worst, you will need to update the BIOS.
You should look at the Seagate 7200.10 drives with Perpendicular Recording. They are awesome.

I finished ordering everything and I got:
Antec P160 case, ecs nforce 570 mobo, evga gf 7900 gt, psu hiper 580 watt, intel core2duo e6400, twin corsair xms 2gb matched, seagate 250gb sata2, liteon all in one burner with lightscribe
The HD is sata2 but oem. Ive read on these forums about installing drivers during windows install or boot or it wont detect the drive? Im only running one drive not two so i guess i dont do any raid? and since the HD is oem the drivers would be found with the motherboard right and can it be updated from the HD manufacturers website or only through motherboard.
And again thanks everyone for the help

Hard drives don't use drivers - only the hard drive controller does. I'm pretty sure that the nVidia SATA controller doesn't need the F6 boot trick.
