i couldnt find previous posts if any but i cant seem to get my wav or system snds to work dont know what changed and but have reinstalled drivers from sis7012 drivers and 56modem spkear phone modem windows directx everything but thing will bring it back will get various errors like no device installed to play that format, directsound missing im lost

its the old k7s5a 635 set 7012 onbrd snd thought modem had something do with it but forgot why

i forgot to mention that all the audio will work in 3rd party players games etc even mplayer [tho got an error yesterday in mplayer] and winamp but games like spider has no sound the windows opening sounds example dont play.

have tried reinstalling the sound rec in win but that didnt help either.
