I just saw Crysis for the first time today, hell today is the first time I ever heard about it and man I was blown away at the visuals. Don't know how good the game will be but I want to see it. Seems like the first game to come even semi-close to realism.

Funny how we all said that when Far Cry first came out. However, this game does look amazing. We have a long way to go before realizm is achieved though.

    $499 for 20gb hardrive, $599 for the 60gb

Really not too bad...but with consoles prices rapidly increasing they are losing one of their few advantages over the PC. $600 for a PS3 really isn't that bad, but when you take into consideration the fact that it will only run top of the line games for 2-3 years, it seems the money may be better off for PC hardware.

    just dl the nintendo conference

i was surprised to see that the ps3 will have the same controller function like the nintendo does, dont know who copied from who or they both had the same idea

but i really like the fact that when you move the controller, the character or whatever in the game moves too

also saw the quake wars and crysis trailer
both games seem to be so **** good!

here is the crysis trailer (ingame):

the two arent entirely the same.. and sony pretty much copied nintendo (or attempted to)
but nintendos controller is able to sense where it is in 3d space, and speed you more it too. however the ps3 controller will only be tilt sensitive..

i thought it was sorta funny that the ps3 controller will lack rumble!

I would much prefer a controler with more functionality than with rumble. I mean I guess it gives you some feedback, but its an on/off function. In driving games hitting the dirt/grass gives you the same reaction that you get in a fighting game after getting shot.

Should my hands really shake with rumble when I get shot in the leg in a FPS? Or punched in the mouth in a fighting game?

Yeah that Crysis video was pretty darn amazing. Never seen anything quite like it..meaning..it looks and feels as dlose to a relaistic FPS as one could get.
Is that a game for the XBox 360 ...some console or is it coming to PC??

Thks for the info and links... GN. LOL
