    Surfing at 1680x1050

    Hey all,
My eyes are getting older.. When surfing the web I know the site content's resolution is dependent on the developers whim. Typically, 1024x768 is the standard. However, this makes surfing at 1680x1050 extremely small...text and graphics. I've found a product called Liquid Surf http://personalcomputing.portrait.co..._overview.html

It claims to be able to adjust the size of the content to make the text bigger, etc. Has anyone tried this? Are there other products out there that do it better? Feedback, rants, raves, commentary, etc., most welcomed

Have you tried pressing CTRL and using your scroll wheel?

I just found out something intertesting. Using that trick in IE doesn't affect the threads here at SysOpt - only the items around the periphery. In Firefox, however, all items on the page are affected. Neat.

funky....ctrl-wheel scrolls the quicklink area on the right, and that's about it...

It adjusts "some" text on other sites, primarily bullets n such, but still not getting things higher than about a 7-8 font size.

So try Firefox. It's taken awhile, but it's so good that I've finally made it my default.

Thanks Bill! ...although most pages don't scale to fill the screen, my main gripe about reading without using a magnifying glass is fixed. Much appreciated!

example of half-page, msnbc or cnn are quick examples
