Im not gettin it anyways, but Im happy they are falling behind. every thing they did this year is just summing up how bad they have done the consumer, frist DRM and they are going to delay the PS3, way to build consumer trust Sony.

1 mistake.... sony has my trust look at all the products they have that are leading edge in home theater, televisions, stereos, etc etc... sony is a good company and always will be, everyone is crying about the 500 dollar price tag for the ps3... well when they cost right near that to make they have to charge that or else they lose money on each one, I personally will be buying one and feel the 500 dollar price tag is just considering it has the blue ray player and most blue ray players will be 800 dollars or more.

I agree with Dennis, I think Sony is a good company, for most things. For audio systems you can't get any worse. But you can call me a Sony fanboy, but I'll always go with a Playstation console over anything else (other than a PC of course), mainly because of the titles that they have. I've never played a game on Xbox that made me truly want to buy one.

I'm hearing a lot of stuff about the PS3 which make me believe that while it will be a better piece of hardware than the 360 (in theory - as per usual it sounds as if Sony have made it an absolute swine to program for), its goign to be a case of all PR - no trousers

Having worked in the Electrical goods business in the past, I can tell you that most Sony products are actually made by LG.

With this in mind, I hope you don't own any of those eother!

Well, from the latest I've heard on the PS3, it will also have a built in DVR. So I think more and more that it'll be worth the price tag.

I like Sony for the most part. I have several Sony products and aside from a 15+ year old VCR who's eject mechanizm can jam sometimes, I havne't had a problem with any of them. I own a couple LG products too and i'm actually impressed with their stuff... Personally, I don't mind the delay either. Gives me time to save some $$$ for an HDTV

I got the information about the DVR from "Attack of the Show" on G4TV.

Ok. that's a credible source I guess. DVR would be nice, but why not put in something that will actually be used..... like a coffee machine?
