...a really high res texture pack, contains updated textures for NPC's/Enemies/Weapons/Environments etc, also has some tweaking of weapon balancing and soudn files.

Be sure to check the readme before installing, as there is no set installer for this, its a copy and paste the new files in jobbie, so be sure to back up the default HL2 content

I wonder if i already installed this... Come to think about it ..I did install a high res. pack already for HL2 and it looks fabulous... remember i did have to do what you refered to by installing the files in the folder..and it worked..perfectly.

On that note.. is this something just put out?? or has this been out for awhile...?

This is from the people (Fakefactory) who made the high Res pack your talking about, however this is the ULTRA high resolution version, using content previosuly packaged in Fakefactory's Cineamtic Mod. It has only been released in the last few days

I finally gathered that hen i looked at the file sizes and such.. The first one was like 290 MB or so and this one is like 750+ MB. Quite a large file.

Have you yourself tried this out yet Jak???

Guess i'mgoing to have to replay it for the sixth time..after this new pack is installed.

Hope you got it already, Fielfront have had to remove it in light of the fact that Fakefactory have breached copyright and used someone elses bump maps in the package
