    Recording my gameplay question

I know this sounds like a stupid question, but i was wondering what would be the best way to go about this:

I want to record myself going through the MMORPG game World of Warcraft, from level 1 to 60! So the final movie will be about 130 hours long! Thats how long it takes me to level from 1-60 in this game, I want to record myself, and want to know what is the best method to go about this? I assume i have two basic options:

FRAPS - generates 1GB per minute of game recordings. That means, the total
file size of the full movie will be 7,800 GBs (7.8 TBs), but of course i
would then have to shrink it with some program. Another negative about fraps
is that, my gameplay will go a bit choppy, that sucks.

DVR setup - I would have to buy the hardware, the camera recorder would
cost, what? 150 dollars? If i choose this method, i would use my VGA
splitter (which i have allready) and hook up an extra monitor to my PC (not
quite sure if it should be an LCD or another CRT, cause flicker is always
nasty on video) and then have it record on the extra monitor. My gameplay
will be untouched with no choppyness. I think this is the method i will go
    with.

I really have no experience in this at all, and would like to know the best approach to this would be. Thanks for all the help!

If your video card has video out, you could pipe it to a VCR/DVR/Camcorder and capture it that way. Then import it back in for editing.
