    Need, help fast.

Well I just got a new computer and guess what? Already there's a problem. My friggen CD drive is acting up. The CD drive won't close, at all. It's as if something is blocking it from closing. I tried moving it around to see if it would un jam, but no luck.

That's as far as it will close! What do I do? I really need help with this fast!

Take it out of the case and look at it closely.

Looks like it came off the track. Pull the drive and pull the covers and see if it can be put back on track.

If it's a new computer, get the cd drive replaced under warranty.

Don't try to open it up. It will just make a PC dealer like me have an excuse of not replacing it because it was serviced by an unauthorized service tech .
