    router dead?

    Im not sure what happen to my router, but it just died on me, ive tried playing with the Wireless Zero Configuration but nothing, try to reconnect to my network and wont do anything, any suggestions?

    Its a Dlink DI-624 with one antenna. and have the DWL-G520 in my tower.
    The firm are is up to date on the router.

    you didn't do a firmware update over the wireless, did you?

    did you try a full reset of the router? hold the reset button down for about 10-15 sec. that should reset it to factory defaults.

    you must have version C since it only has 1 antenna:

    nope didnt update over the wireless, havent done the reset yet, was about to do that,
    yea thats the one I have.

    OK i reseted the router and it seem to be fine for now, how can i set it up, so it does not crash on me again?

    Should I leave my Wireless Zero Configuration automatic, manual or Disabled?

    it just happens. there is no "magic bullet".

    if you have the dlink wifi config running, then you should probably disable WZC. as always, RTM.

    Wifi config is in the router setting correct?

    no, the dlink software is the wifi config software I am talking about. if you are not using the dlink wireless client software, then use WZC. if you are, then disable WZC. Like I said, read the manual to be sure.
