How many people do you think own both? Common type of question but the answer is almost impossible.

We prefer nVidia here at SysOpt.

Well I have the K8VSE Deluxe, rocksolid board at stock, its a more generalized board....I mean, its not really built for gaming. Its an everyday board, but has alot of features...WiFi Slot, dual sata raid, that AI net thingy that detects bad cables...all great stuff for the everyday user...No AGP/PCI locks though, so you WILL NOT be able to OC at all.

But, im upgrading to an Nforce3 chipset soon....If your going to game at all, go with the Nforce....that NV firewall is pretty wicked.

BpB - i'll soon have both So i'll compare the two for the pplz haha

Happy Hunting, (check out the DFI Lanparty NF3 UT 250GB, built for gamers/enthusiasts..)

Of those two, I would buy the K8N-E. I haven't owned either of those specific boards, but over the years my experience with nForce chipsets has been much more positive than with VIA, so I'd decide simply on that. In fairness to VIA, though they used to be pretty bad in terms of bugginess, they have been much better recently, and I've had no serious issues with KT266A and later, so I do consider them - now- good enough to use, but nVIDIA is still my preference.

I am leaning to the nVidia also I have had two very stable boards recently. The via's that I have had were alright they had a couple little quirks.
