I don't see any reason to pay $245 for a power supply, especially for a Thermaltake which isn't the best PSU brand anyway. You could get a better one for around half the price from Antec, Enermax or Fortron. It wouldn't be 680W but you don't need 680W. Nobody does, not even for SLI, unless you have like a gazillion drives. Once such alternative: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103437
Actually a lot of those prices seem funny to me. Is that in Canadian dollars or something?
Are you going to be doing a LOT of gaming? If not, might want to rethink your system. Its a really good gaming rig. Agreed with Izdaari on the PWS. I have used several Antec's and Enermax's over the years... GREAT PWS!! Very affordable too.
Shop NewEgg www.newegg.com
then check out the company at ... www.resellerrating.com
Yer its in australian dollars...
$245 ant to bad a price for that..
Yer the system is for games gona get second card later and i got water cooling for cpu to o/c and try to make it as lest cpu limited as posibile.
I'v allready ordered it im happy with the psu/price.
I do have a antec 480w i got not that long ago but im gona do some heavy o/c'ing so i wont a high rated psu..
Thx anyway m8
