It's been brewing for some time!

When every thread turns into a "pickle" a "cake" or an "I know more obscure words & acronyms than you" fest! plus the name calling, arguments & disrespectful replies to serious questions & hi-jacking of more serious threads, by those that have nothing sensible or helpful to contribute but intend that their name should appear in the thread anyway (rather than clicking the "thread tools" link & subscribe silently). How is anyone expected to carry on a "discussion" when you have ppl chiming in with comments and such that have no bearing on the topic posted?

There was a time when ppl could ask a serious question here and expect a serious answer! If you post asking for advice or an opinion now - you get run out of your own thread by kiddies squealing about something totally different! so no one bothers anymore.

Chew on this: Is there any good reason why almost every OT thread posted recently should end with a two-fingered salute? j\k or otherwise?

It's hardly worth trying to have any serious debate in OT anymore & it's not hard to figure out the reason he left! I don't blame him! This place seems to have turned into a hangout for Juvenile Delinquents or

..the moron brigade...

I'll miss some of his more inteligent posts, but it seems like he started believing in his own rants a bit too much. He could certainly dish out the insults, but wasn't too good at taking them.

I think that Strawbs is right every post here that can be altered toward stupidity ends up going there. Any post that is off topic or close seems to be free game to be altered. It is getting old.
