    OpenGL 1.5 vs 2.0

I upgraded my gameing rig about a month ago to the following specs

    Athlon64 3700+
    2x1GB PC3200
    X800XL

When I was browsing newegg for my video card, I noticed that some were listed as OpenGL 1.5 and others as 2.0, but they were all X800XL cards. My question is 2 fold really. First, what is the difference between 1.5 and 2.0? Secondly, shouldn't all x800xl's have the same capabilities? Everything else was identical (memory bus, memory speed and core speed) except for the OpenGL part. I ended up ordering one that was listed as 2.0 just incase.

The biggest change is GLSL (allows for nice looking water and other special effects). Ati cards with the R300 core and higher have OpenGL 2.0 support from Catalyst 5.3.

the chips are the same, so they will support the same standards.
