    Debate about storage...

I am having a discussion with one of my friends, and just to put my mind at ease and confirm that I am once again correct [haha, yes I am conceited like that ] I would like to know if it is possible for one to burn a DVD full of mp3's and have it work in a regular CD player. I say that it is not possible because of the format differences between a DVD and a CD [like comparing a 3.5" floppy to a 5.25"] and a CD player will not be able to read the DVD. He thinks that when you burn the DVD with mp3's it will be formatted in such a way that a regular old CD player will be able to use it. Again I say no, you must have a DVD compatible drive/player in order to read a DVD.

    Any thoughts? thanks....

Without getting into specifics, you are right. Go over to either videohelp.com or cdfreaks.com and you can get a plethora (love that word) of info on why.

This would take a couple of minutes to test....

Ask your friend why there are two distinct different type of drives....
