What am I doing wrong?

I am trying to print from wordpad and notepad, but all I get is blank pages.
I can print other items, but can't figure out what I am doing wrong, or not doing.
I type in wordpad or notepad, then go to file and click print. But blank pages is all I get.
This is XP OS.

What does print preview show you?

I see what I typed in preview, but still won't print it. I had to go to yahoo notepad and use it, but I didn't like the yahoo emblem on the page.

Are you sure that you have ink or toner for printing available? If not, then you should replace and print out a test page! Check your connections and make sure that they are snug. Maybe your ink cartridge dried out if it's been awhile since you've used the printer.

It prints fine, just not from note pad or word pad.
