Longest wireless range for a router...

    Ok quite a simple question
Have checked a few websites and it seems Linksys may win this one

Perhaps KWEBB as the resident wireless expert can give us his real life experiences rather than some Cnet lab boys tinkerings!

What is the best brand to buy for wireless range in a wireless router for normal household use?

My neighbour wants to share my internet connection indeed maybe all 5 neighbours thus reducing my internet costs to a fraction of what it is now!

    Cheers guys!

    thus reducing my internet costs
    and also reducing your bandwidth!

the newer "mimo" standard routers are the ones you should be looking at unless your preparted to wait for the "n" standard to be ratified.

You may want to look at NetGear's RangeMax Wireless router.

a classic example of how marketing name of "Range Max" deceives the buyer and sets false expectations. Great article! An informed buyer is a happy (with their purchase) buyer.
