Tell me to buy this 19" LCD

Heres the link: Samsung 19" LCD

Now, I play some video games, mostly WoW and maybe some HL2 now, but that really about it. From what I've heard you can not see any traces of ghosting on this thing anyway. For the money and reviews it seems like a great deal, just wondering what you guy thought of it.

    Was also looking at:
    More expensive Viewsonic
    Another Samsung

The Viewsonic does have DVI, but from what I've heard, it really isnt missed on the above samsung. One test I saw actually came out with analog being better than the DVI hookup.

    Thanks!

I've basically narrowed it down to the 1st Samsung above or the Viewsonic. Im actually all set to buy the Samsung unless someone can tell me if ill miss DVI at all. From what I've read, it's no big deal.

The viewsonic is about $90 more (after rebates on the Samsung).

I just got a Hyundai L90D+ with both inputs, but I have only the VGA hooked up. I was not happy at first. But I reset the refresh rate to 75 (My maximum available) . With Win XP you'll will want to go to control panel/Appearance and themes/display/appearance/effects and set the second pull down to "Clear type"

    That really helped me

I am using a 9500 Pro and it does have the DVI available, I have not tried it though. If you were doing digital imaging I expect it would be a boon, but for everyday I have been told analog is better. I do not know that to be factual.

I am happier now by a long shot, but if anyone knows more.... sing it out!

My friend down the hall just got that Viewsonic monitor...after doing some reviews and checking around and I got to see it first hand. it is a real sweet LCD.

LCD's are just less hard on yur eyes and there was virtually zero ghosting on his..as far as my own eyes could tell. Of course I am fairly predujicial and think Viewsonic monitors are just oneof the two best out there...and they are made with quality.
