You could probably use one of these...
The blurb.....
The shifting form and fashions of our current mobile phone glut is quite awsome. However..... what will an 'all singing' and practical mobile phone look like once the technology meets and exceeds practical use. Who knows? Do you know? Once it is possible to logon to home and work pc's seemlessly and mobile web formats step out of the darkages, you have a smart client and no real need for an OS. Long lasting battery or a 'universal power up' is being neglected. Networking and an HTML shell will do it all. A uniform interface would be nice for some - LCARS anyone. (Seriously - Lcars is much more than a prop thrown together for a TV series). So. lnterface, shell, networking,...... form...... What will it look like? A phone that is always on, always connected, accessing data and the web, TV, News, mail and radio, video, web DVD and games. Usable as a passport and credit-debit card. ls that a phone in your pocket or are you glad to see me! Data and WWW require decent screen size for presentation whilst phones fit the 'smaller the better' camp. There is much experiment with form and touch at the moment with touchscreen going 'must have'. Form for task 'Shape shifting' seems logical to me, and there are many concept designs in progress. Taking a stab at it.... Multi touch screens, Clamshell format...... etc.. etc... Handset width is an important consideration. A touchscreen shell can simplify the interface with drill down menuing and 'dare l say voice cammand. A rugged appealing phone for daily use (thinks rubber - pink rubber). A usable web browser..... hohum....

Just access to the web. I want a device that turns on when opened,
finds a wifi web connection and displays full screen browsing across both halves
of a clamshell case. No OS. No apps. I don't need storage space, it's online.
Application functionality moved to the web: docs, photo apps, chat, webmail.
Just give me a cheap, reliable entry point.

The Japanese seem to be the ones to bring
out the most innovative phone concepts and most evolved gadgets.
They bring the clamshell phone with three display screens.
