HD Space Problems - Norton Recycle bin

    Hi guys,

    I have 2 hard drives.

My C: (my older hard drive) was used as my primary hard drive until I purchased my new hard drive (G.

I'm pretty sure my C: has norton protected files on them, and I have no idea how to access/delete them. I know how to delete them on my G: (right click the recycle bin and delete purged files), but I have no clue how to delete purged files on my C:.

    Any tips would be appreciated.

    thanks

Hmmmm......... G is now your system drive? - (Windows is installed on G?)
Then right click the C drive in My Computer and right click on the Recycle bin there. There shoud be an option in the context menu to empty the recycle bin .
In order to see the Recycle Bin in C:, it may be necessary to go to "Tools" on the My Computer menu bar, choose Folder Options > View - and uncheck "Hide protected operating system files".

    thanks for the quick reply

yes, G is my system drive.
I can't right click my recycle bin in my C drive
The only options I get when I right click my C drive are
"Explore, open, search, ... properties etc."

    hmmm

Did I say "right click on C drive"? That should say, "double click on C drive". - sorry 'bout that. If you have unchecked "Hide protected operating system files" in Folder Options, you should be able to see the Recycle Bin. Right click on it for context menu.
