    overclocking 6600?

Just wondering what the plain 6600's are spose to overclock to.
I got a msi 6600 256mb.[ with zalmans copper fan and heatsinks]
Just wondering coz i can only get about 400 on core out of it.
But mabey i think i dont have enuff power for it i only have a cheap 350 watts psu and running 3.0ghz at 3.6ghz 1gig ram few lights/fans/ 2 drives/hdd's.
It has a power connectioner but it only like a floppy one mabey it dont get enuff juice from that type?
My beat is my psu is no good but mabey thats the limit for the card?
    Thanks heap ...Willy

there is no "expected" overclock. you get what you get. each card is different. 400 is already a 33% overclock.

you could try another psu, but I don't think you'll see that much improvement. 6600s don't draw that much power. you could try overclocking the video card with the cpu running at stock speeds. it doesn't matter if it is a floppy or molex connector. the voltages are the same.

could he try Rivetuner and open some pipes and see if there not bad? you'd prolly get better performance if you could.
