stickified. man, I stayed up extra late to see reviews and stuff. I guess a lot can happen in 5 hours.

From the Release Highlights:
"Allows end users to keep or remove old driver application profiles when the driver is updated "
...finally.
Nvidia either caught on that they release drivers more often than some people shower, or they anticipate the 7800's being tweaked 50x in the next month.
Not that it was a big deal, but readjusting my gamma/brightness/contrast every install was getting tedious.

If you downloaded this file earlier, go back and check that you have the 20MB version (English). The first files were WHQL "Candidates" and the download was only 16MB or so.
The new files are WHQL "Certified" now.

Just noticed that. Good point.
I've also noticed that on these drivers, I'm seeing some artifacting while I play Battlefield 2. I have to open my case to get it to stop. Is this another temperature bug? I thought Nvidia was rid of those, but maybe not.

We're playing BF2 right now on my friend's 6800GT and there is definitely some weird tearing with the 77.72s. Gonna try the 77.50 WHQLs later.

Argh. turns out one of his 512MB dimms was bad.
