Installed my new vid. card and new PSU, HELP!

Hi guys, I jsut bought my 6600 GT and a Purepower THermal take 420W psu.

    Few questions:

What mode do I use for the PSU, 115 or 230 ? I tried 230 and my monitor wouldn't start up.

AFter I turned on my computer, and isntalled the NVIDIA driver, whenever I would go to properties it would freeze for like 1 second and then back to normal again.

The card is 61 degrees celcius, is that alright? My card's heatsink is silver, is that the new version of the cooling fan ?

    Power SUpply Installation *UH OH!!*

I'm not sure if I installed all the pins correctly, I just unplugged my old PSU and just put the pins in whatever needed (whatever fitted I put in), is that ok ?

I couldn't fit the power supply in the back case, so it's croocked ! Is this ok ?? I have pics..

if you are in the US, then use 115. if you are in Europe use 230.

what drivers are you using? the latest official drivers are the 71.89s, but you can also try the 76.44 WHQL betas.

I just looked at the pics. is that an HP case? i've had that problem before. you can either 1) get a different power supply that has a square plug instead of that diamond shape. or 2) bust out a dremel and cut off that flange.

and for Pete's sake, blow out the system with some canned air.

Hey guys about the card's cooling fan/heatsink, how do I tell if I got the improved new model cooling system or the older one ?

I got the silver coloured fan.

not sure what version, but it looks like a plain stock one to me. it's just a basic cooler.
