    It doesn't sound like a practical purchase to me. It would have to be loaded with 1gb chips to work as a OS drive with xp, sp1 and sp2. Four of them will just about buy you a new computer. If you only boot once or twice a day a one minute boot time is no biggy.

    My system boots in 'bout 20 sec, but this product is PCI an limited to the PCI bus speed. When they can make it SATA or better there could be something here...

    The card fits into a standard PCI slot, which provides power, and it uses a SATA (Serial ATA) connection for data transfer.
