    GeForce 6800GT DEMOs don't work

I just purchased the PNY Verto GeForce 6800GT. It's an awesome graphics card. I've been enjoying games like Doom3 with very good frame rates considering my processor speed.

I loaded the nVidia demos, like Nalu. Every time I try to execute the demo, I get the Windows XP "encountered an error" popup window. In fact, all the demos on the CD or what I have downloaded from nVidia website give me the same error.

I've tried to talk to PNY support, but, they're only equipped to handle simple questions, like, "how do I know what I just bought".

Has anyone experience problems with the demos? Does anyone have any suggestions?

    I'm running:
    MSI MS-6330 Limited Edition MB
    AMD Athlon 1.4Ghz
    512Mb memory
    Audigy Sound Card

    Latest VIA 4in1 drivers
    nVidia 71.89 drivers
    Latest WinXP SP2 updates

I think it may be my processor. It doesn't support SSE instructions. I had a warning message when I tried to install 3DMark05 telling me that it didn't detect SSE. I'm about to upgrade to a 939 socket processor which I think will fix this problem.

Thanks for the reply. Nice system specs.
