    PCMark2002 says "n/a" for CPU

This seems to be an odd problem to me. On my Dimension 8100 I'll run the benchmark and when it's done, I have a Memory score of 4627 and a HDD Score of 632 but at the top is says N/A for my CPU score.

What's going on? I can run this on computer as low as my Uncle's 500MHz Celeron and all the scores come up. Why isn't this working on a much newer system?

    TIA...

probably because it doesn't recognize the newer cpu. if that cpu wasn't around when the benchmark was made, how could it recognize it? if a doctor never saw a disease before, how could he know what it was?

    use pcmark04 instead.

yeah but pcmark 2002 was released in late 2001. My computer was manufactured in December of 2000. besides I have to pay for pcmark 2004 to run CPU tests.

see if there is an update patch or something then. obviously the cpu database was not updated to support your processor.
