I didnt want to do anything too drastic with the case, so i decided to cut a big 120 mm hole through the front of it, as gMono allows for 120 mm fan to be mounted. Also painted the insides with black glossy paint.
Here is the case being ready for cutting and painting:

Here is the case with the 120 hole cut out in front! The insides already painted (although it took me a while to paint them as I messed it up at first) The hole was drilled with a hole-saw which worked magic as u can see

Here are most of the goods

AMD clawhammer 3200+ see the AR at the end of the first line means CG stepping which is great for O/C (i was really lucky to get that little thing from Newegg cause CGs are rare)

as some can remember getting a geforce 6800 GT this summer was pretty much impossible, I was on the eVGAs backorder list for about 3 weeks. Before that i was some other websites waiting list for x800 pro for like a month good thing i went with GT

    thanks,

monitor is the one thing i forgot to mention. Its a SONY SDM-S74/Black 17 " with 16 ms response rate.
here is a newegg link ( got to love how the price decresed like 25% since the time i bought it ) http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...006-077&depa=1

And about LCD monitors and gaming I must say that I havent noticed any difference. I played D3 for a while as well as CS and there was no problems at all. I heard that if the LCD has 16ms response rate or better than there would be no ghosting or anything like that, and my experience supports that.

Very nice mod, looks interesting. I was wondering about the mesh you got for the 120mm fan in front, it looks nice, but were did you get it?

hehe, so good things are with the 16ms lcds. Im going to save my money up for one With your 6800GT and that monitor do you have to play at a certain resolution? I only have a 5900 and hl2 would slow down baddly at 1200x1000 res.

here are the meshes there are also sold in 80 mm veriety

yes every LCD has its default resolution that it works best with, with mine its 1280 x 1024 but 6800gt handles it with no problems When you look at specs for LCDs they tell you their "natural" resolution. I am pretty sure you could buy a 16 inch LCD with "natural" resolution lower than 1280 x 1024.
