    which memory is better ?

    Which one of these memory sticks would be better ?

    DDR PC3200 • CL=3 • UNBUFFERED • NON-ECC • DDR400 • 2.6V • 32Meg x 64

    DDR PC3200 • CL=3 • UNBUFFERED • ECC • DDR400 • 2.6V • 32Meg x 72

    Or

    DDR PC3200 • CL=3 • REGISTERED • ECC • DDR400 • 2.6V • 32Meg x 72

    Some are 72 others 64

    Well, since they're all the same timings, the Registered RAM would be better.

    What board are you using? Your board may not be able to use registered and registerd (ecc) is good for servers but if it aint a server you do not need the registered.

    Im just trying work out some new parts for my new computer build lol

    The motherboard ive already ordered is :

    Abit IC7 Intel 875P P4 Motherboard. And im goin to order a CPU
    Intel Pentium 4 "Prescott" 3.0GHz (800FSB) with HT Technology -

    Memory is goin to be PC33200 256x DDR PC3200 • CL=3 • UNBUFFERED • NON-ECC • DDR400 • 2.6V • 32Meg x 64 , (id say now after your reply lol )

    And im goin for an Intel P4 flower cooler

    Any advice on some kinda graphics card would be really good

    A Radeon 9600XT would be a good card if you don't play a lot games, but may want to play a little in the future.

    A GeForce 6600GT would be the next best up, which would be if you're planning on getting into more graphicly advanced gaming.

    But if you want to save money, or you won't be playing any graphicly advanced games, just go with any lower end card.

    Yes, that card would be a great card for a not-so-hardcore gamer. And a R9600XT will play any game out there, but may strugle on some of the newer games at higher resolutions, but as long as playing with some of the eye candy turned off doesn't bother you, you'll get good framerates.
