    Firefox problem with Yahoo Mail

When I use IE6 with XP I can send rich text: large fonts, smilies etc... in Yahoo Mail these options are not available with Firefox.
Does anyone knows how to enable rich text format in firefox?

Firefox doesn't have a mail app. Do you mean webmail formatting? If so, perhaps you need a Java plugin. Maybe Yahoo uses ActiveX?

It's probably best to write to Yahoo and ask.

That's my only (and very minor) gripe with Firefox. There's a bit of info on the problem here:

    Try the Java Plugin first.

One of the nicest things about Firefox is that it doesn't have ActiveX.

I was shut out of Hotmail earlier today because my Lynx browser doesn't do Java worth beans.
