Intel Retail Edge Package - Performace

Requesting some feedback on the below listed system. I have been playing with AITool with overclocking the ATI X800XL.

    3DMark2005 - 5068

After tweaking, pushed it to 5838!

My opinion, these numbers are downright poor!

    Return to Proxy: 25.6
    Firefly: 17.6
    Canyon Flight: 28.2

    CPU Test
    1: 2.5
    2: 4.2

Now, for the real question: I think I purchased this card too early as I see several posts with benchmarks in the 14,000's. That is just downright incredible.

I am using the Retail Edge Package:

    Intel 820D
    Intel 945PSN
    74Gig Raptors - Raid 0
    ATI X800XL

Do you feel that purchasing the NEW BFG GeForce 7950 GX2, would make a NIGHT and DAY difference?

    Thanks...

Also, attached are the NEW price reductions on the Intel Processors.

That's not right. My 6800 GT and 2.8Ghz P4 gets over 5000 on 3DMark05. Something about that is really screwed up.
