Stark Raving MOD
I got better scores with the 66.70s over the 66.81s. I think I gained over 100pts.
That's a mild overclock. 400/1100 would be ultra speed.

the default core clock for the 6800gt is 350mhz, which is 50mhz below the ultra.

low clock speeds yes but still awesome in games and benchy, Mid the driver your talking about is that just 66.70 not the 66.77 right if so have you got a link for that driver the only one I have from the Nvidia site is the 66.77.

i mean slow compared to the X800 pro which is 475 Mhz. i know that the 6800 GT is a better card. but i suppose it makes up for it with the pipelines.

I have also noticed that so far, it seems that the 6800 GT is the Video Card of choice so far on this forum. WOOT!!!

OK im confused madpistol (yes easily done ) but that link took me to a score of 4790 and a Intel Pentium 4 3398 MHz. if that is the speed of a 2.8 Ghz CPU then why doesnt mine run that fast!
have you posted the wrong link or just some mistake on your part with details.
is that the score you get with ure 6800GT stock speed. i guess so from the link but others stuff has been different on the link so just checking. if so its a great score.

Heh. I'm sure If I fine tweaked my card, I could get that score too. I'm no amateur to the GFX card realm, and I also know that in this run, excluding the X800 XT PE (which are insanely expensive) every card's performance is on par with their counterpart from the other company. Frankly, I'd give the medal to Nvidia this time for better support on their cards with SM 3.0. However, it'll be a while before we see a lot of games that use it, so I wouldn't worry about it for those of you who have bought the X800 series.

i only see one system on your link and this system is not yours.
